School Trips

Field Trips

MagicBus Tours is a local operator which has been known for taking skiers and boarders to ride the Canadian Rocky Mountains since 1992. Assembling high-quality trips that are a good value has always been a part of our business, and this attracted many corporate clients and groups to us. Alberta schools have long made alpine sports a part of the curriculum and MagicBus stepped forward to deliver a new approach that made planning and producing adventures easy, affordable and most of all, safe. Soon, schools from all over the province were including MagicBus as part of their annual offering to
their students.

Since then, MagicBus has been partnering with schools beyond the slopes and the winter season. We offer a variety of adventure options that educational professionals can use towards their curriculum as an alternative learning resource or for that exciting year-end trip.

The Educational Benefits of Field Trips Last a Lifetime!

Hands-on Learning

Field trips offer direct experiences, allowing students to see and touch what they're learning in class, making abstract concepts more tangible and boosting comprehension and retention.

Real-World Application

Connect classroom knowledge to practical, real-life situations, helping students see the relevance of their education at historical sites, museums, or businesses.

Cultural & Social Exposure

Foster cultural awareness, tolerance, and empathy by exposing students to diverse cultures, environments, and social situations.

Motivate and Engage

Ignite students' curiosity and interest, driving them to explore subjects further. Anticipation of field trips boosts classroom participation and engagement as students eagerly await hands-on experiences.

MagicBus packages cater to the needs of the students while meeting the expectations of the school administration. Our tours travel on reliable motor coaches, stay in clean, comfortable locations with simple supervision tactics, ride mountains with excellent ski schools and safe rental programs. Supervisors are provided complimentary packages based on a minimum ratio of 1:10 as an incentive and to ensure safety and group behavior standards!

Our teacher partners enjoy using our online tour management portal to keep track of their trip. Our system generates all the details for their tour and sends it to our partners. From day trips to lengthy overnight excursions, MagicBus has been called upon to build specialized itineraries and offers a variety of destinations across Canada, all year round.
