We’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales and Tour Development Specialist to join our team and help shape the future of our travel offerings.
The Sales and Tour Development Specialist will play a critical role in driving revenue and developing compelling travel experiences. This unique, blended role requires a professional who is both client focused and creative, with a strong understanding of the travel market. As a dual-function role, you will be responsible for engaging with clients to increase bookings, while also designing tours and travel packages that align with market trends and client needs.
Key Responsibilities SALES
- Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences and provide personalized recommendations that meet their needs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through upselling, cross-selling, and maximizing customer value.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies, including outreach campaigns, follow-ups, and handling customer inquiries.
- Attend networking events to build connections with business leaders and organizations seeking unique travel-based experiences.
- Attend trade shows and events to connect with potential clients and industry professionals, showcasing and selling our services to expand our client base.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.
TOUR DEVELOPMENT
- Design and develop unique, market-aligned travel packages and tours, incorporating client feedback and emerging travel trends.
- Negotiate with vendors, hotels, transport providers, and tour operators to secure cost effective and high-quality partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing to create promotional content that highlights newly developed tours and seasonal offerings.
- Stay informed on industry developments, competitor offerings, and destination trends to keep our tours competitive and appealing.
- Evaluate the performance of tour offerings, making improvements based on sales data, client feedback, and market demand.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in sales, travel planning, or tour development within the travel or hospitality industry.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of Canada: Deep understanding of Canadian destinations, attractions, and travel trends is a strong asset.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in a sales environment with excellent customer service skills.
- Tour Development: Experience creating travel packages or itineraries, with strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage clients and partners.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems, booking platforms, and MS Office Suite; experience with graphic design or content creation tools is a plus.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required by client needs or travel schedules.

Work Location: Kingsway Avenue
Schedule: Full-Time, 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend events
