The Revelation Gondola

Probably the most aptly named lift in the mountains, the Revelation Gondola gives you a true sense of the vast expanse of Revelstoke Mountain Resort. As you ascend, you witness the majesty of the terrain unfolding below—great runs emerge as you climb higher. With several blue runs and two green runs accessible from this lift, Revelstoke offers an exhilarating challenge. Though it may be daunting for the absolute beginner, for those comfortable on blue or black trails, it’s akin to paradise. Remember to grab a trail map before leaving the base—you’ll need it. Start with some easier runs at the lower part of the mountain to warm up your legs for the thrilling experiences ahead. As you look upwards, the Stoke chair beckons, promising even greater adventures.

The Stoke Chair

Here is where the true ‘stoke’ begins! The upper mountain opens up to an array of magnificent runs. Ensure your GoPros are ready for the breathtaking vistas and thrilling descents. Remember to bring water and snacks—the journey from top to bottom is long and demanding. Even green riders have a path down if they’re here for the scenery, but be prepared for tired legs; the easiest route down is also Revelstoke’s longest run, The Last Spike, offering over 15km of gentle switchbacks. From the Stoke chair, you can also access the Ripper chair for access to some truly exceptional terrain.

Ripper Chair

This chairlift serves as your gateway to some of Revelstoke’s finest runs. While reaching the North Bowl might require some effort, the rewards are unparalleled. It’s also the route you’ll need to take to return to the front side after exploring the North Bowl, making familiarity with this area essential.

North Bowl

Prepare for the most epic terrain Revelstoke has to offer. The hike might be just challenging enough to make you feel you’ve earned your turns, offering either breathtaking terrain or a reminder of your physical limits. It’s crucial to ski or ride with friends here and approach with the utmost respect. Seasoned adventurers understand the gravity—any problems in this remote area mean a long journey back.
