MagicBus to Marmot

MagicBus To Marmot Basin

Be whisked away on a newer motor coach to the Jasper National Park for first tracks at Marmot Basin. When you get off the warm bus, you’ll have your lift ticket in hand and will gear up steps away from the lower chalet. The bus loads at 4pm and departs at 4:30pm back to Edmonton. The service is hosted by our Tour Directors and riders as young as 13 years old can join without a parent or guardian onboard.

Weekenders

MagicBus Weekenders are featured annual trips where we hit destinations beyond Jasper. We plan them around eventful weekends or simply the best snow conditions. Weekenders depart on Friday afternoons so you don’t have to wake up as early to head to the mountains. They are at least 2 nights and 2 days on the slopes, sometimes more!

CAT 2018 4

Cat Skiing

For the avid snowseekers, or those simply searching for an epic ski/boarding adventure, you NEED to experience Cat Skiing! Two full days of untouched, deep powder! A good mix of wide open powder cruising runs with some more technical, naturally-gladded tree areas to test your abilities. Due to the nature of the mountain, the runs are consistent fall-line skiing with no flat traversing required.

Most Common Questions

How far in advance should I book?

Our buses do sell out frequently (especially Saturdays) so you should book as soon as possible. Generally, for daytrips if you book 3-4 days in advance you should get a spot, and for overnights you want to book a week or more in advance to ensure availability.

Why can’t I select the date I want?

There is either no bus running that day or it has likely sold out. Please note, it’s possible for a depart and return bus on the same day to have different availabilities due to overnight passengers. Contact us to be put on a waitlist as people do cancel!

How old do you need to be to ride?

MagicBus accepts riders of all ages and is a family friendly bus hosted by Tour Directors. Riders that are 13 years and older can ride without a parent or guardian onboard. A waiver will need to be signed for all minors. Overnight stays require at least one adult (18 years or older) in the room.

Where do I leave my vehicle during my trip?

Free parking is available right where the bus departs from (the back side of the Edmonton Inn). Please make sure your vehicle is locked up with no valuables inside. MagicBus Tours is not responsible for stolen/damaged items.
