MagicBus Tours and Live It Up Lifestyle Adventures are seeking passionate and energetic Volunteer Tour Directors to join our dynamic team, guiding exciting adventure experiences across Alberta and throughout Canada. If you have a love for the great outdoors and want to help others explore the beauty of our province, this gig is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive training, understand expectations, and follow policies and procedures
- Lead adventure tours (ski, snowboard, rafting, biking, mountain escapes, educational, corporate, etc.) in scenic locations throughout Alberta. The more experience you get, the farther into Canada you can go!
- Check in, manage guest inquiries, and oversee the manifest and schedule throughout the trip
- Load and unload guests luggage and equipment on motor coach trips
- Ensure safety and enjoyment for all participants by maintaining tour standards
- Assist with tour logistics, including check-ins, transportation coordination, and group management
- Provide trip updates and summaries to the office, covering key experiences, feedback, and any issues
Requirements:
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Be comfortable speaking to groups of people
- Enthusiasm for outdoor adventure and tourism
- Ability to work with diverse groups and ensure a fun, inclusive experience for all participants
- Customer service experience
- General computer skills
- Must be organized
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel on weekdays, weekends, holidays and to new destinations
